Directions of Use Information

When do I start taking my supplements?

Our recommended usage is to start taking our supplement one week prior to your surgery, and continue taking it twice daily for two weeks post-surgery or longer, as recommended by your healthcare provider. We recommend purchasing when booked for surgery. If purchasing online (www.xrscience.org), patients should consider allowing time for the product to be delivered before the program is scheduled to begin.

Is Xcelerated Recovery® a meal replacement?

Xcelerated Recovery® Nutritional Supplements  are not a recommended sole source of nutrition or meal replacement and are best used to supplement a well-balanced diet.

What can I mix Xcelerated Recovery® with?

Xcelerated Recovery®  can be mixed in a variety of ways. The easiest is to add the package to water and shake in the provided bottle. Xcelerated Recovery® can also be added to your favorite smoothie recipe with water or juice.

When do I take the XR® Carbohydrate Loading?

Individually, mix and consume 2 packets of Carbohydrate Loading the evening before surgery. It is recommended to consume both servings over approximately a 2-hour period. On the day of surgery, be sure to follow your doctor's specific instructions for eating and drinking.

We recommend ordering your program at least two weeks prior to your surgical date to account for potential shipping delays.

Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday, with a cutoff time of 11:00 AM PST for same-day shipping.

  • Orders placed on weekends are processed on the next business day.
  • XR® products shipped via UPS cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.
  • FedEx SmartPost and FedEx Ground Economy are the only shipping options that allow delivery to PO Boxes. Ensure you select these options if needed.
